About Us
reach is the name for the newly founded Rural Development Programme in Bridgend. It is funded through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Assembly Government, the aim being to create a cohesive, sustainable and connected rural Bridgend focusing on five key aspects of rural life: people, produce, place, tourism and enterprise.
There are a small number of food producers in rural Bridgend with limited ability to supply smaller retailers and hospitality providers. Producers generally have a low profile and many retail outlets and hospitality providers are unaware of what is available on their doorstep.
The producers have provided their own information for inclusion in www.reach4food.com, we hope the numbers listed will increase quickly, so please tell your contacts, we want to build the network.
